The African Pangolin Working Group (APWG) is dedicated to the conservation and protection of all four African pangolin species through the rehabilitation and rewilding of illegally traded pangolins, generating knowledge, developing partnerships, and creating public awareness and education initiatives.
The APWG operates the Pangolarium, conducts current research and publishes findings, runs the Junior Eco-Ranger programme, and collaborates with partners across Africa to combat pangolin trafficking and habitat threats.
