Lakeview Monkey Sanctuary is a UK registered charity (1120919) that has spent more than thirty years rescuing primates from the pet trade, circuses, and laboratories, providing them with a permanent home where they can live in peace with their own kind.
The sanctuary is an inaugural partner of the European Alliance of Rescue Centres and Sanctuaries (since 2011) and was awarded Verified status by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS) in March 2023, confirming it meets the criteria of a true sanctuary providing humane and responsible care.
