Wolf Haven International is a globally recognized wolf sanctuary that has provided a lifetime home for over 325 displaced, captive-born wolves and wolfdogs since 1982. Animals come from private ownership, zoos, roadside attractions, and other situations, and are given exceptional care, enrichment, companionship, and medical treatment at the sanctuary's Tenino and McCleery Ranch locations.
Beyond sanctuary care, Wolf Haven offers educational programs, promotes wolf restoration in historical ranges, and advocates for wild wolf conservation and coexistence. The organization participates in two federally-managed SAFE recovery programs for critically endangered wolf species and serves on the Wolf Advisory Group for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
