Founded by Laurie Marker in Namibia, the Cheetah Conservation Fund is the world’s leading organization dedicated to the cheetah. Its research center studies cheetah health, genetics, and ecology in the country that holds the largest remaining wild population.
The Fund is known for its livestock guarding dog program, which places Anatolian shepherds with farmers to prevent conflict and keep cheetahs alive on working land.
