The Snow Leopard Trust works across the high mountains of Central Asia to protect one of the world’s most elusive big cats. It runs the longest-term study of wild snow leopards ever undertaken, using camera traps and GPS collars to understand a species few people ever see.
Its conservation model is built on partnership with herding communities, linking the protection of snow leopards to livestock insurance and income programs that make coexistence possible.
