Carolina Tiger Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit wildlife sanctuary focused on saving and protecting wild cats in captivity and in the wild. Animals at the sanctuary come from private owners, mom and pop zoos, traveling circuses, and other facilities as a result of being abandoned, relinquished, or confiscated by authorities.
The organization offers public and twilight tours, provides education about the animals and their rescue stories, and engages in advocacy efforts. They believe wildlife should not be kept as pets and that captive breeding should only occur in accordance with Species Survival Plans.
