Lions Tigers & Bears is a state and federally licensed 501(c)(3) non-profit animal sanctuary situated on 142 acres on the edge of the Cleveland National Forest in Alpine, California. It provides a safe haven for rescued big cats, bears, and other exotic animals that have been neglected and abused in captivity across the country, currently caring for more than 60 animals representing 19 species.
Founded in September 2002 by Bobbi Brink, the organization is dedicated to ending the exotic animal trade through rescue and education. It operates as a no-breed sanctuary, allowing animals to live out their lives with dignity. Since its founding, it has rescued more than 1,000 big cats, bears, and other exotic animals from across the nation.
